Want to play AFL in 2009? AFL is a winter sport and runs from April through to September.
Westbrook fields teams from Auskick (5-8years) through to Under 16s, and for those who wish to continue on to Under 18s, we have our alliance with the Mac Warriors (Macquarie University) . Please click on the play AFL or Mac Warriors symbols for more information.
Please keep your eye on the website for updates and the latest Bulldogs News, including details of the Westbrook Registration Days.
Dont forget that Westbrook would like to see a member from each team to join the committee for 2009. If you think you may be interested please let us know.

NSW State Championships 2008 - Tuesday, October 21, 2008

The above Westbrook boys played at the 2008 NSW State Championships, at Narrandera 7-9 October.
Both the U/13 and U14 teams had very successful carnivals, only losing one game each for the whole carnival. The highlight of the carnival was the win, by both age groups, over the highly fancied "Rebels" teams who emanate from the Riverina area.
Congratulations to all the Westbrook players involved.

Westbrook Players in Sydney North Best & Fairest Awards - Tuesday, August 26, 2008
Westbrook was well represented at the Greater Sydney Juniors Sydney North/Sydney City Regional Presentation night, held Monday 25 August. Both Matt and Stuart won their respective Best and Fairest against some great competition

Tim Wale's Geelong Scholarship Offer
Westbrook U16s player Tim Wales was offered a scholarship from the Geelong FC after a sensational U16s carnival in Woolongong last Saturday. Tim was runner up in "Best Player Of The Carnival" award while captaining the victorious North West Team. The team won all their 5 games, defeating Newcastle Region in the final. Westbrook were represented by Tim and Chamath Samarasinghe from our U16s (pictured below). The squads were made up of both U15 & U16s players from Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast & Illawarra.
